Docket No. 2024-03 – Variance filed by Craig E. and Tina M. Fortna, 98 Oaktree Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036, Property ID 56-002-151, which is zoned R-S – Residential Suburban. The application is to consider a variance to Chapter 27-1508.C(3) of the Township of South Hanover Zoning Ordinance which provides an accessory building shall not be erected or substantially altered within any front yard. The applicant is proposing a garage bay addition to an existing accessory building (detached garage) which previously received a variance to be constructed in a front yard in 2010.

The Township of South Hanover Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission would like to invite interested citizens to a Workshop Meeting to discuss the proposed Hanover Company Development of the former Hummelstown Quarry. The meeting will be held at the Township of South Hanover Municipal Building, 161 Patriot Way, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
