Parks & Recreation

The Park and Recreation Board has the power to provide, conduct, operate, equip and maintain public park and recreation areas, facilities, and centers subject to the provisions of the ordinance and the Second Class Township Code and subject to the budget appropriations made by the Board of Supervisors.

Currently, their focus is on maintaining, upgrading, and expanding the park space available to residents.  Safety, ease of access and use are major concerns.  Plans are being made for the development of additional park space.  Comments from the public are welcome as to what residents would like to see!
